About the Project:
Purchases of this mat support local artisans who harvest the roots for aromatherapy and erosion control. When vetiver fibers get wet, they release aromatic oils. If the scent diminishes, simply soak the mat in water and let air dry; the aroma will be revived. Vetiver is strongly antimicrobial, and will resist mold and mildew. To clean, the mat should only be rinsed in water, without chemicals.
