About the Artistans:
SEWA is a women's only cooperative that provides training and means of employment to thousands of village women. They no longer have to leave their villages in search of work. Women are supporting their households and becoming independent while also preserving their crafts and traditions. This is bringing about a sustainable economic revolution in rural India. Our block printed, appliqued, and embroidered products have been made by the proud women of SEWA.
